3 Back to School Snacks to Help You Maintain Your Slim Figure

If you just had body contouring done at our office, then you may catch yourself checking your slim figure out more often than not. One of the things that we tell all of our body contouring patients is that although they have great result now, they will need to eat healthily and exercise regularly to maintain them.
If you or your kids’ are going to back to school, your house may be filled with a few more unhealthy snacks than you may care to admit. To make sure that you continue to make healthy choices, we have created a list of a few snacks that you can munch on so that you can maintain your slim figure.
Blueberries aren’t just full of antioxidants, but they are also low in calories as well. Plus, they are something that is easy to eat when you are on the go. Try pre-packaging blueberries into small containers so that you can take them with you to snack on throughout the day.
Another easy snack for you and your kids to eat is some string cheese. String cheese is great because it’s high in protein, low in fat, and easy to grab and eat no matter where you are. With about only 80 calories per stick, they are a low-calorie snack to eat whenever you’re feeling a little bit hungry.
Raw almonds are full of protein, vitamins, and they are easy to eat at school, work, in the car or just about anywhere. The tricky thing with almonds is that although they are high in protein, they are also high in fats, but it’s good fat so you shouldn’t be too worried about it. Try only to eat a handful of almonds a day so that you don’t go over your daily caloric intake.
